1. Who we are
LeadVeda (“we”, “us”) provides AI-assisted lead nurturing across chat, voice, and video. This policy explains how we handle personal data when you use our website, console, and Meta integrations (WhatsApp Cloud API and Instagram Messaging).
2. Data we collect
- Account data: email, name, and authentication identifiers for workspace users.
- Business profile: company details you enter in Settings (name, website, product description, tone).
- Lead & contact data: names, phone numbers, emails, channel IDs, conversation history, and notes you or your automations store.
- Messaging content: inbound and outbound WhatsApp / Instagram messages, media metadata, and delivery status received via Meta webhooks.
- Integration credentials: Meta access tokens, phone number IDs, page IDs, and webhook verify tokens you connect in Settings (stored encrypted at rest in our database).
- Usage & technical data: IP address, browser type, and basic request logs needed to operate and secure the service.
3. How we use data
- Authenticate users and operate your workspace.
- Receive and send messages on WhatsApp and Instagram on your behalf via Meta APIs.
- Run AI agents and workflows to qualify, nurture, and route leads.
- Ground replies with your knowledge base and business profile.
- Provide support, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.
We do not sell personal data. We do not use Meta messaging content to train public foundation models.
4. Meta / Facebook platform data
When you connect WhatsApp or Instagram, Meta provides message payloads and identifiers under Meta’s Platform Terms and your Business Manager settings. We process that data only to deliver LeadVeda features you enable. You can disconnect Meta credentials in Settings at any time; disconnecting stops new webhook processing for that channel.
5. Sharing
We share data only with:
- Infrastructure providers (hosting, database, auth) under contractual safeguards.
- Meta, when sending or receiving messages through WhatsApp / Instagram APIs.
- AI inference providers you configure, solely to generate replies or workflow steps.
- Authorities when legally required.
6. Retention
We retain account, lead, and conversation data for as long as your workspace remains active, or until you delete it. You may request deletion of workspace data by contacting us. Backup copies may persist for a limited period before purge.
7. Security
We use industry-standard controls including encrypted transport (TLS), access-controlled databases, and tenant isolation for credentials and conversations. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete personal data, or object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights. End users messaging your business via WhatsApp or Instagram should also use Meta’s in-product privacy tools and your own customer privacy notices.
9. Children
LeadVeda is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your region).
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date above will change when we do. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
